Description

Plug gauge H7, ø44 mm, Go/NoGo is a hardened steel plug gauge in tolerance class H7 — used for Go/No-Go verification of hole diameters on workpieces. The plug gauge features two cylindrical ends — a ”Go” end (which should pass through the hole) and a ”No-Go” end (which should not pass) — with diameters matched to the tolerance class.

Compatible with DIN 7162 and 7164. The gauge is hardened and ground to class tolerance; a standard QC tool for verifying that the hole is within the acceptance band. The plug is supplied with calibration documentation for the Go and No-Go diameters; typical delivery in a plastic tube with the manufacturer’s measurement protocol.

Usage: Fit the Go end into the hole — it should enter freely, without force, all the way through. Fit the No-Go end — it should NOT enter (or only partially). Both fits confirmed = the hole is within tolerance class. Either the Go fails or the No-Go fits = the hole is out of acceptance.

Common applications: hole acceptance on machined parts, incoming inspection of drilled and reamed holes, line-side QC on machine shop floors, fixture and jig verification where exact diameter is not required but a go/no-go band is.
